The value of Chinese banking sector assets saw a 10% year-on-year increase in October to reach 241.58 trillion yuan (USD$36.61 trillion) according to official data.
Figures released by the China Banking Regulatory Commission further indicate that liabilities saw a year-on-year increase of 10% to reach 222.66 trillion yuan.
