The Chinese food and beverage market is expected to reach unprecedented size in 2019.
The China Cuisine Association (中国烹饪协会) forecasts that the domestic food and beverage market will exceed 4.6 trillion yuan (approx. USD$650 billion) in 2019.
According to CCA head Jiang Junxian (姜俊贤) the 2019 figure will mark over 800-fold growth compared to 1978 and the launch of China’s reform and opening era.
