Beijing has topped a new list of the world’s top fintech hubs released by leading research institutes in Zhejiang province.
The Global Fintech Hub Report 2020 (2020全球金融科技中心城市报告) prepared by Zhejiang University in collaboration with the Zhejiang Association of Internet Finance looked at over 70 cities around the world to assemble a picture of the international fintech scene and fintech development trends.
The Report compiled a list of the world’s 40 leading cities for the international fintech sector, comprised of eight global fintech hubs and 32 regional fintech hubs for 2020, as well as top 20 rankings in terms of industry, consumer experience and ecosystem.
