Chinese banks dominate the upper reaches of the Banking 500 2020 list of the world’s most valuable banking brands released by Brand Finance.
The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) retained its position at the top of list, while Chinese banks continued to command the four leading spots.
China Merchants Bank also made the top ten at ninth on the Banking 500 2020 list, with the remaining spots held by stateside lenders including Wells Fargo, Bank of America and JP Morgan.
