Tencent Acquires Full Ownership of Shenzhen Big Data Firm Nash

Tech giant Tencent has acquired full ownership of a big data company based in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen.

Fully owned Tencent subsidiary Shenzhen Tencent Industry Venture Capital Co., Ltd. (深圳市腾讯产业创投有限公司) became a 100% controlling shareholder in Nash Big Data Technology (深圳纳实大数据技术有限公司) on 4 August, according to industrial registration data from Qichacha (企查查).

Nash Big Data was established in 2016 with registered capital of 122.54902 million yuan.

Its legal representative is Huang Shifei (黄世飞), and its business scope includes big data mining, analysis, presentation and distribution technology development and technology services.

Nash Big Data’s flagship products include Banber – a “big data simplified reporting platform,” and Tableau, which it bills as a “commercial smart software to help examine and understand data.”
