Revenues of Chinese Government Funds up 33.7% YoY for January-April

The latest official data points to a sizeable rise in the budget revenues of China’s government funds for the first four months of 2018.

Data from the Chinese Ministry of Finance indicates that the total budget revenues of government funds for the period from January to April was 2.0559 trillion yuan, for a year-on-year rise of 33.7%.

The budget revenue of central government funds for the period is 121.5 billion yuan for a YoY decline of 3.4%, while for local government funds the own-tier budget revenues are 1.9344 trillion yuan, for  a YoY rise of 37%.

Revenues from state-owned land usage right transfers stand at 1.7958 trillion yuan alone, for a YoY rise of 40.7%.

For the period from January to April government fund budget expenditures are 1.6207 trillion yuan, for a YoY rise of 48.9%.

For central government funds the own-tier budget expenditure stands at 18.3 billion yuan, for a YoY decline of 0.6%, while for local government fund related budget expenditures is 1.6024 trillion yuan, for a YoY increase of 49.8%.

Expenditures related to state-owned land usage right transfer are 1.4621 trillion yuan, for a YoY rise of 53%.
