China’s GDP Grows 6.8% in First Half of 2018

Official data points to GDP growth of 6.8% in China for the first half of 2018.

The latest figures from the National Bureau of Statistics indicate that China’s GDP was 41.8961 trillion yuan in the first half of 2018, for inflation-adjusted year-on-year growth of 6.8%.

China’s GDP saw 6.8% YoY growth in the first quarter and 6.7% in the second quarter, for the 12th consecutive quarter that growth has remained within the 6.7 – 6.9% range.
