One of China’s leading commercial lenders has launched the use of facial recognition-based payments for its enterprise app.
According to a report from Mpaypass.com.cn, China Merchants Bank’s enterprise app (招商银行企业App) is using biorecognition Fast IDentitiy Online specifications in tandem with mobile digital certificates and AI technology to permit quick and convenient mobile transactions based on facial recognition.
The maximum transaction sum for facial recognition-based payments using the app is 5 million yuan, which CMB says will satisfy the large-sum B2B payment needs of businesses.
CMB said that in future it will continue to use its enterprise app platform to expand the deployment of fintech application, increase financial service capabilities and efficiency, and provide CMB customers with higher quality services and experience.
