Assets of China’s Privately Offered Funds Hit 13.42T Yuan at end of July

The assets under management of China’s privately offered funds exceeded 13.4 trillion yuan as of the end of July.

The 2019 7th Privately Offered Fund Manager Registration and Privately Offered Fund Product Filing Monthly Report (2019年第7期私募基金管理人登记及私募基金产品备案月报) just released by the Asset Management Association of China (AMAC) indicates that as of the end of July AMAC a total of 24,332 privately offered fund managers were actively registered with AMAC, for an increase of 28 compared to June, or an on-month rise of 0.12%.

AMAC has registered a total of 78,734 privately offered funds, for an increase of 1012 compared to June, or an on-month rise of 1.30%.

The scale of managed funds was 13.42 trillion yuan, for an increase of 134.985 billion yuan, or an on-month rise of 1.02%.
