State-owned giant China Everbright Group has entered a cooperative partnership with Hong Kong-listed China Minsheng Bank.
Representatives from the two groups, including Everbright Group Party Secretary and Chair Li Xiaopeng (李晓鹏), Minsheng Bank Chair Hong Qi (洪崎), executed the strategic cooperative agreement at China Minsheng Bank’s Grand Hall in Beijing on 26 August.
Under the agreement the two parties will engage in cooperation in the areas of comprehensive financial services, industrial investment, environmental protection, aged care and health, culture and tourism and technological innovation.
Hong Qi said that Minsheng Bank’s three main strategies are to position itself as a “bank for private enterprises, a bank for tech financing, and a bank for comprehensive financial services.”
