Chinese Central Bank Adjusts Daily Schedule for Its Open Market Operations

The People’s Bank of China (PBOC) has announced modest amendments to the daily schedule for its open market operations (OMO).

PBOC announced on 11 June that starting from the following day it would adjust its daily open market operations timeframe from 9:15 – 9:45am of each working day to 9:00 – 9:20am.

At 9:20am the “Open Market Operations Transaction Report” (公开市场业务交易公告) will be released, unless there are no open market operations for a given day, in which case the report will be issued at 9:00am.
