China’s Statistical Bureau and Market Regulator Recruit Blockchain Talent


A cohort of China’s top central government authorities have placed recruitment advertisements seeking blockchain technical experts.

On 6 July the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MOHRSS) and the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) issued an advertisement for nine new positions, primarily comprised of technical roles.

These nine jobs include positions for a “blockchain engineering technician” (区块链工程技术人员) and a “blockchain applications operator” (区块链应用操作员).

Other roles up for grabs with China’s central government offices including “urban management network personnel,” “online sales technician,” “information security tester,” and “community health assistant.”
