Postal Savings Bank of China Holds Its Own 2021 Fintech Week

One of China’s big state-owned banks has just staged its own week-long campaign to drive greater use of fintech applications amongst retail customers.

Postal Savings Bank of China (PSBC) held its 2021 “Fintech Activity Week” (金融科技活动周) during the period from 22 – 28 May, with the theme of “Looking Back on a Century – the Chinese Communist Party Leads Fintech Development” (中国共产党领导金融科技发展”).

During the week-long campaign PSBC staged demonstrations of innovative new financial products and services for customers, including its “mobile banking bank 6.0,” client management cloud workshop, and a range of smart customer services.

PSBC branches also invited customers to trial new fintech products that make use of artificial intelligence, big data analysis, image recognition and virtual reality technology.
