The People’s Bank of China (PBOC) undertook 200 billion yuan in 7-day reverse repo operations on 23 February, with a rate of 2.10%.
PBOC said that the move was to “offset the impact of the peak tax period, and maintain the stability of liquidity at the end of the month.”
