One of China’s big state-owned banks has unveiled new plans to help drive the development of welfare rental housing in the southern coastal province of Fujian.

On 9 March China Construction Bank’s (CCB) Fujian province branch unveiled a new plan to provide comprehensive financial services for the development of welfare rental housing in the region.

CCB’s residential housing subsidiary Jianxin Zhufang (建信住房) also executed welfare housing cooperative agreements with five leading real estate enterprises in Fujian province, including Fujian CTS Group and Fujian Xintou Zhiye Fazhan Co., Ltd.

Under the agreement CCB’s housing subsidiary will provide a full range of financial services to Fujian province developers, in order to “prompt capital markets to support the development of welfare rental housing.”
