The total market capitalisation of the recently opened Beijing Stock Exchange (BSE) is close to 183 billion yuan following just five months of operation.
As of 15 April BSE was host to 90 listed companies with a total market capitalisation of 182.927 billion yuan. The bourse’s total number of investors was over 4.97 million.
The BSE opened on 15 November 2021, for the purpose of providing greater access to domestic capital markets to innovative small-scale Chinese enterprises.
