Jiangsu-province lender Bank of Changshu has seen robust growth in net profits in the first quarter of 2022.
The regional lender saw operating revenues of 2.128 billion yuan in the first quarter, for year-on-year (YoY) growth of 19.34%, according to its Q1 report released on 22 April.
Net profits attributable to shareholders were 659 billion yuan, for YoY growth of 23.38%.
As of the end of March Bank of Changshu’s total assets were 268.698 billion yuan, for YoY growth of 8.97%. Total deposits were 204.254 billion yuan, for YoY growth of 11.78%, while total loans were 173.121 billion yuan, for YoY growth of 6.34%.
Bank of Changshu’s non-performing loan ratio was 0.81% as of the end of March, holding steady with the end of last year, while the lender’s provisions coverage ratio was 532.73%, for a rise of 0.91 percentage points.
