Anhui-province lender Huishang Bank has posted surging growth in net profits for the first half of 2022.
Huishang reported net profits of approximately 7.335 billion yuan for the first half of 2022, for an increase of around 20% compared to the same period last year.
Huishang, which is headquartered in the Anhui-province capital of Hefei, also reported a non-performing loan ratio of less than 1.6%, and a provisions coverage ratio of over 270%.
As of the end of the first half of 2022 total group assets stood at around 1.58 trillion yuan, for an increase of around 14% compared to the start of the year.
