Chinese A-share ETF’s have received more than 40 billion yuan in a month-long period, with semi-conductor ETFs proving especially popular following the implementation of technology export curbs by the US.

From 17 September to 18 October over 41 billion yuan in funds have flowed into A-share ETF’s, according to data published by 21st Century Business Herald.

A source said to 21st Century Business Herald that A-shares currently present an excellent value investment opportunity given that PE ratios have trended lower.

Figures from Datayes indicate that as of 18 October the PE ratios for the SSE 50 Index and CSI 300 Index stood at 10.5 and 13.5 respectively.
