One of China’s big state-owned banks has launched its own university in Beijing.
On 17 December the China Construction Bank (CCB) announced the official establishment of the China Construction Bank University (建行大学) in Beijing.
CCB president Wang Zuji (王祖继) has been appointed as chancellor of the China Construction Bank University.
The university will “make use of technological capability to take the fragmented training centres and sites of the entities of the bank at all levels; online training platforms of the headquarters and branch banks, and resources including domestic and overseas cooperative educational institutions, instructors, teaching materials, courses, lectures and training research results, and integrate them into an organic and comprehensive reciprocally used, jointly shared study ecosystem which combines online and offline, internal and external, and domestic and overseas education and training resources.”
