The cloud computing vehicle of Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com has just established a new firm in the Hunan-province capital of Changsha.
Changsha JD Cloud Computing Co,. Ltd. (长沙京东云计算有限公司) was recently established with registered capital of 30 million yuan, according to data from Tianyancha (天眼查).
JD Cloud & AI (京东智联云) is the full investor of Changsha JD Cloud Computing, while the latter’s legal representative is Li Yongming (李永明).
Changsha JD Cloud’s business scope encompasses research and development of big data processing technology; information security and other on resulting, IoT services and software development.
JD Cloud & AI is a subsidiary of JD.com, and specialises in the provision of cloud and AI services. The company is the result of the integration of JD.com’s cloud computing and AI units at the start of March 2020.
