China’s Outbound Foreign Direct Investment Rises 25.5% YoY in July

China’s outbound foreign direct investment increased by over 25% in the month of July.

Data from the Ministry of Commerce indicates that Chinese investors made total non-financial direct investments of 432.92 billion yuan in 4088 overseas enterprises during the period from January to July, for YoY growth of 3.3% in the investment amount.

In the month of July outbound foreign direct investment was 68.06 billion yuan, for YoY growth of 25.5%.

During the period from January to July Chinese enterprises made investments worth a total of USD$7.97 billion in 52 Belt and Road nations, accounting for 12.5% of the total for the period.
