Telecommunications giant Huawei has teamed up with leading payments provider China UnionPay to launch a new digital bank card.
On 8 April Huawei launched the Huawei Card, to coincide with the release of its Huawei P40 series flagship smartphone.
The Huawei Card is a digital bank card developed by Huawei in cooperation with ChinaUnionPay, which incorporates China UnionPay’s Quick Pass and Huawei Pay’s payment services.
Holders of the card can access China UnionPay’s full payments network both within China and abroad, while Huawei is providing card holders with a first year of usage free of fees.
