The Chinese central bank will support the launch of a new centre situated in the national capital of Beijing that will be responsible for the monitoring fintech-related risk.
Beijing will see the launch of the “National Fintech Risk Monitoring Centre” (国家金融科技风险监控中心) with the support of the People’s Bank of China (PBOC), according to remarks made by Mo Wangui (莫万贵), deputy-head of the PBOC Financial Research Institute, on 22 October at the 2021 Financial Street Annual Forum.
