The inland province of Jiangxi has announced the addition of two new innovation projects to its fintech regulatory sandbox initiative.
On 9 March the Chinese central bank’s office in Nanchang – the capital city of Jiangxi – said that the two new projects would include:
- Agricultural supply chain financial services based on artificial intelligence, under development by Jinjiang Bank.
- Big-data based lending services, under development by the Nanchang branch of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.
Both of the innovation projects commenced testing on 10 March.
