The specialised financial court for China’s national capital has reiterated its commitment to providing legal protections to the development of new digital infrastructure.

“The Beijing Financial Court will fully employ the role of its financial adjudication function to provide vigorous judicial protections to the flourishing development of new digital infrastructure,” said Cai Huiyong (蔡慧永), head of the Beijing Financial Court.

“The concept of financial adjudication must actively adjust to changes in the digital infrastructure ecosystem, and financial judicial policies must promptly respond to regulations and provisions on new digital infrastructure.

“Financial adjudication work must actively integrate with technological innovation for digital infrastructure.”

Cai made the remarks on 21 November at the New Digital Infrastructure Sub-forum held as part of the 2022 Financial Street Forum (2022金融街论坛年会).
