China’s foreign reserves have come in slightly below expectations in the month of April.
Data released by the Chinese central bank indicates that China’s foreign reserves stood at USD$3.12485 trillion in April, as compared to a consensus forecast of $3.1310, and a reading of $3.14282 for the preceding month.
They posted an on-month decline of $17.968 billion in April, as compared to an on-month increase of $8.338 billion the preceding month.
China’s foreign reserves were worth 2.172959 trillion SDR in April, as compared to 2.161701 trillion SDR in March.
