Caixin Survey Sees M2 Money Supply Rising 9.5% in June


Caixin’s latest survey of leading economists has produced an average forecast of 1.2 trillion yuan for new lending in the month of June.

The average forecast for YoY growth in the M2 money supply at the end of June is 9.5%, with the highest forecast at 10%, the bottom forecast at 9% and the median at 9.5%.

The highest forecast made for new lending was 1.5 trillion yuan, the bottom forecast was 900 billion yuan, and the median was 1.2 trillion yuan.

Economists from a total of 11 institutions participated in the Caixin survey, including Bank of Communications, China Merchant Securities, CICC, CITIC Securities, Everbright Securities Huatai Securities and Shenwan Securities.
